Fearless Wanderer references the imagery of Caspar David Friedrich's Wanderer Above the Sea of Fog, a classic product of the Romantic era that shows a man marveling at the vastness of nature. In Holly’s rendition, there is no landscape to be seen, and the wanderer is a woman. Rather than witnessing nature, she herself is nature. As to what she looks out on, we can only wonder.
