Argentinian artist and designer enigmatriz reworks existing artworks through digital collage, creating a striking dialogue between traditional artistry and contemporary technology. In A Summer Afternoon Two, two women, perhaps sisters, walk arm in arm at the water’s edge, suspended outside any specific time or place. Interwoven with the initials of the Bennet sisters, their figures evoke the possibilities of sisterhood, connection, and the lives unfolding ahead. Austen’s themes become something dreamlike, contemporary, and open-ended.
