When you sit down to begin something, what matters most to you? Before the salon, you'll answer this question and discover your Lit Society archetype. Based on your response, you’ll receive a curated selection of books exploring Communication. Choose one title and plan to start reading it at the salon. Then gather with us for an afternoon of quiet reading, thoughtful conversation, cocktails, and reflection.

Join author, educator, and editor K Hank Jost (A Common Well Journal, MadStone, Gotham Writers Workshop), for a four-week intensive on building a writing practice. Through studying the lives of great writers of the past, emulating their practices, and close readings of their work, students will learn to transform the material of their everyday lives into the stuff of true literature. Jost will guide students through weekly writing exercises and journaling, both on one’s reading and one’s quotidian experience, toward the development of an ironclad, productive practice unto the discovery of each student’s fundamental, individual, ineluctable genius.

Join Lit Society and Zando Publishing’s SJP Lit imprint for a salon inspired by the novels of Nao-Cola Yamazaki. This immersive literary evening serves as the opening chapter ahead of Lit Society’s October theme, In Translation, exploring the subtle ways love, care, and belonging are communicated across cultures. Beginning with an interactive cocktail experience inspired by Japanese words that have no direct English equivalent, guests will move through thoughtfully curated cultural moments before gathering for a moderated Literary Salon (with a very special guest!) exploring intimacy, translation, ritual, and what it truly means to feel understood.

Absolutely! Lit Society by Bond & Grace is about curiosity, books are just one way to feed it. It’s for the curious girlie who’s always almost ready to raise her hand, drop a reference, or say “did anyone else notice…”—this is your club.
Whether you’re a deep diver, a highlight skimmer, or somewhere in between, Lit Society is for women who love sounding smart, feeling seen, and having more to say in the group chat. You don’t need to have read every book—you just need to be curious enough to want in.
An annual membership to is $149. That’s about 40 cents a day—for curated convos, access to our community platform, live events, recorded replays, and a space where being smart actually feels good. (Plus, our memes are excellent.)
We’re confident that if you join—even for a little bit—you’ll walk away with not just new insights, but a whole new lens on books, culture, and conversation. You might even start seeing the world in literary metaphors (happens more than you’d think).

While all memberships are non-refundable, you can cancel your auto-renewal at any time directly in your member portal or by contacting info@bondandgrace.com.
Once you join, you’ll receive a welcome email with instructions to set up your profile and access the platform. From there, you’ll be able to explore events, discussions, and member-only content. You will also be able to log in at anytime at bondandgrace.com/litsociety
Not at this time. Lit Society is a digital-first experience—but stay tuned for future merch and limited-edition drops exclusively for members. You will, however, be the first to know of any in real life events hosted in 2026.
Not at all. All events are recorded and added to your portal so you can watch (and rewatch) whenever it fits your schedule.
